Ingredients (makes 2 cups )
2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
¾ cup sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
1. In a medium saucepan, combine strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries break down and the mixture thickens (about 15–20 minutes).
3. Optional: Mash with a fork or potato masher for a smoother jam.
4. Let cool slightly, then transfer to a jar. Refrigerate — you can keep it for 2–3 week
