Make Boxed Cakes Better

Boxed cakes are easy to use but did you know you can improve them to be more like a bakery cake?
I add the following items to box cakes

Replace any butter with oil, butter dries cake
Replace any water with milk
Add an extra egg
Add 1 cup sour cream
Add a teaspsoon of vanilla

Bake as you normally would.
