updated avatar but task still says awaiting?

Hi everyone, I am new here, and trying to figure out how everything works.


I found tasks and verified my email and got pins for that.

Similarly, I tried to update my avatar (had the default avatar before) I clicked apply and followed the instructions.

But it says that it is still "awaiting" even though my avatar has now been uploaded.

I apologize if this has been answered already, or if this is the wrong place to ask. I am very confused!

i did it twice and nothing. the first time was before i even saw the task, so i wonder if that was my issue...
