How do you learn?

I use the internet a lot, usually videos.  But I learn by doing, so I have to be able to try it as I'm watching.

I'd like to learn quilling next.  I have the stuff to do it, but haven't tried yet.

I went to the library often as a kid. So I got lots of info from books. I also learned a lot from my mother and other people older than me. I learn from seeing. So having someone do something first helps me a lot.
Now I watch videos, but I do still like learning from people irl because they can give you feedback and correct you as you learn.
