Do you have a quilt on the go or many on the go?


I currently have a string quilt in the works. It is a colorful hodge podge, it will be pretty though. The hardest part of this quilt is being random, LOL.

I still struggle with getting the corners to match perfectly.
However in the big scheme of a quilt, most will never be noticed.
I really enjoy the string quilts, because they are done on a paper backing and there is not any precise sewing.

Can you please explain the paper backing more?  It looks like you are just sewing strips together then cutting a square from them.  How does the paper backing benefit the project?   Thanks - your quilt will be beautiful!

I have only just started to learn to quilt. Matching everything up perfectly can be hard but I came across a phrase I will try to embrace 'better done than perfect!'
