I'm always trying to cook different foods or meals for dinner but running out of ideas. Right now my favorite is simple sautéed garlic shrimp, baked potatoes and corn on the cob and rolls. No recipe really needed, just sautee shrimp in garlic and pepper a few minutes.

Tell me what your favorite family meal is,  bonus points for a recipe or link to recipe! Who knows, I may just test it out.

I have this recipe, it's in spanish but google translate should get the job done. Here in Argentina, there's a famous chef called Betular. He shared this recipe on Masterchef argentina and I was quick enough to copy the recipe for a chocolate peanut butter tart. I swear it's a fan favourite!

"Ingredientes:
Para la masa:
1 taza y 1/4 de harina 0000
3 cucharadas de azúcar impalpable
1/3 taza de manteca
Una pizca de sal
3 cucharadas de café frío
cacao (seis cucharadas)
Relleno:
300 g de caramelos de dulce de leche
100 ml de crema de leche
Mantequilla de maní
ganache:
Servir.

otherwise i love lasagna.. with bechamel sauce, tomato sauce.. then beef or seafood (before) .

If you have a pressure cooker or instapot cook them first in beef broth about 45 minutes. Remove and drain, put meat in cake pan, smother in bbq sauce, bake about 30 minutes. I do this all the time, they are awesome. I do prefer pork ribs to beef.

Definitely try the pressure cooker! I use it for roasts, ribs, venison etc. Makes it so tender as opposed to slow roasting all day.

I love roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes and buttered corn. Having a small side of cottage cheese is also a must for me with roast beef.

I know how to make mashed potatoes, but how do you do roast beef and buttered corn ? That sounds delicious. l  Post time 2025-07-13 03:15
