Regarding the development direction of pinebk, solicit opinions from all members

My initial plan is to develop pinebk into a download site for copyrighted materials. For example, recipes, sheet music, and other materials. I haven't figured out a specific direction for development yet, so I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thank you very much.

Anyone is welcome to discuss any issues in this thread or forum.

Well, we already have all kind of crafts on pindiy and books/comics on ebooksite, you might consider something with music or films.
It must be something we don't already have on both other sites.

3d printing files (stl, 3mf). That would be quite popular and would actually bring men to the site. Even free files are going to be very popular at some point.

Movies/videos are going to be a pain only because of the size. Often up to and more than a gig even with compression.
Music is much easier and smaller files and actually easy to rip or convert.


Graphics, specifically svg. Svg are used most commonly for Cricut and Sillouette craft cutting machines and laser cutters. Psd and ai files are higher end graphics for Adobe products, they can be larger files of course depending on dpi but might be doable. Png might also be suitable but youd have to zip so not direct download.
Currently none are really on Pindiy.  It is something you could add there though, if not here. There are tons of crafters who own and use one or more of the machines and use them regularly.

Maybe games and software. Again, size might be an issue on some but not all.

FYI, in the USA  recipes can not have a copyright, only the instructions themselves. See link below. So one can actually give an ingredient list without copyright issues.
