Anyone journal?

I was wondering if anyone journals every day or at least frequently? I keep trying but then give up after a brief period. I have many journals only partly written in. I find that I don't have much to journal about in my daily life so it's too easy to quit. What do you journal about and how do you keep yourself motivated to write on a regular basis?

We only make a journal when we go with the boat.
We write down the time when we leave and arrive and the place were we stay.
So next time we know exactly how long we did on the same trip we want to make.

i used to keep a diary as a teenager.. i have no idea where most went.. but the ones i've found were interesting to read. I had forgotten so much of my life back then.

When i was pregnant, i  thought of starting an anonymous instagram where I would just write dear bub, then write about my life and about her and everything she does. milestones and all.. but i forgot and now i'm sad, i must have forgotten some details of my pregnancy i would have loved to have a record of.
