Fryderyk Chopin wrote his Waltz for piano a minor somewhere between 1843 and 1848. It was released more than 100 years later, in 1955, so it did not have an opus number. For this reason, it is often marked with Brown’s catalog number – B. 150. It is a piece with a strong folklore element, both in the harmonic course and in the form. Marked Alegretto, it has 56 bars, and it takes about two minutes to complete.
