[*]2 squares unsweetened chocolate
[*]2 eggs
[*]1cupsugar
[*]1cup sifted cake flour
[*]1/4teaspoonbaking powder
[*]1/4teaspoonsalt
[*]1cup broken walnut, meats
[*]1teaspoonvanilla
Directions
[*]Set oven for moderate, 350f.
[*]Melt butter and chocolate together over hot water.
[*]Beat eggs; add sugar gradually while beating.
[*]Add chocolate and butter to egg mixture; beat hard 1 minute.
[*]Mix and sift flour, baking powder, and salt; stir in to egg mixture; add walnuts and vanilla.
[*]Pour into greased pan, 8 by 8 by 2 inches.
[*]Bake 40 minutes.
[*]Cut into squares or strips.
