[*]1/2cuppeanut butter
[*]2 eggs, well beaten
[*]1/4cupmilk
[*]1teaspoonvanilla
[*]3/4cup seedless raisins
[*]3/4cuprolled oats
Directions
[*]Mix and sift first 4 ingredients.
[*]Beat shortening until creamy.
[*]Add sugar gradually, continuing to beat.
[*]Add peanut butter; blend well.
[*]Stir in eggs, milk, and vanilla: mix well.
[*]Add sifted dry ingredients: mix well.
[*]Fold in raisins and oats.
[*]Cover: chill 1 hour.
[*]Set oven for moderate, 350f.
[*]Drop dough by teaspoons on ungreased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
[*]Bake 15 minutes or until brown.
[*]Cool on racks.
