[*]2 eggs, beaten
[*]3 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
[*]1/2cupmilk
[*]1teaspoonvanilla
[*]3/4cup chopped walnuts
[*]3/4cup seedless raisins
Directions
[*]Mix and sift flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
[*]Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
[*]Add eggs and chocolate: beat well.
[*]Stir in milk, vanilla, walnuts, and raisins.
[*]Add sifted dry ingredients; mix well.
[*]Cover: chill 1 hour.
[*]Set oven for moderate 350f.
[*]Drop dough by rounded teaspoons on greased baking sheets 2 inches apart.
[*]Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
[*]Cool on racks.
