Charlotka (apple cake)
Hi, my mom taught me this recipe for a Russian apple cake. It's super easy.Ingredients:
3-4 apples (enough to cover the pan you use)
100g sugar
3 eggs
120g flour (I use pastry flour)
Recipe:
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Slice the apples thin and spread it into the pan to cover the bottom.
In a bowl mix all the other ingredients together.
Cover the apples with the mixture.
Put the cake in the oven for around 50 minutes, untill it is set and a toothpick comes out clean.
