[Question] Found a mistake 10 rows back. Frog it or Ignore it? 🐸
The worst feeling ever! You are almost finishing the project and notice you missed a stitch 2 hours ago (about 10 rows back).
It's barely visible, but YOU know it's there.
Type A personality says: 'Unravel everything and fix it immediately'.
Lazy me says: 'It's a unique design feature, nobody will notice'.
What do you usually do? Be honest! Do you rip it or skip it?
In cross stitch?
If it is a complete wrong colour like black in with i will frog it.
But if its just a bit a litghter or a little darker i just leave it as it is.
Nobody will ever know , unless you tell them. Mistake for which craft? Depends on how noticeable the mistake is. I am not a perfectionist so little ones do not bother me and give the project character. I would have to rip it out. It would drive me crazy knowing it was there For me it depends on the project and how much time I have put into it If it's something I can find in 5 minutes of looking for the error, or if it's something that will have downstream effects, I fix it. Otherwise, I roll with it.
